The Knights of Fire is a motorcycle club whose members are owners and riders of all types of bikes. Our members come from all branches of Emergency Services. Our goal as a club is not only to ride, but also to continually give back to the community, beyond what we do at work each day. We are a non-profit organization and support various local charitable causes.

 

We are in the process of planning our annual charity run for this year, the 3rd Annual Run for Ryan.   Proceeds from our run will be donated to the Sergeant Ryan E. Doltz Memorial Foundation as well as Saint Peter’s Orphanage.

 

We are currently seeking vendors that can offer a wide range of services to our patrons.  The motorcycle run will begin and end at:                     Rockaway Borough Fireman’s Field, Beach Street, Rockaway, New Jersey  07866

                         Motorcycle Registration/Vendors 9am-11am, Motorcycle Run 11am-1pm, Picnic/Vendors 1pm-4:30pm

Applicant and members and associates of his/her organization agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Knights of Fire III, and its agents from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses including attorney’s fees and court costs, arising from any circumstances occurring during the Knights of Fire III Run for Ryan Charitable Motorcycle Run.  The applicant also understands that only one side of their purchased space may be available for the selling of product depending spaces sold to either side or behind the applicants space.  Questions should be e-mailed to RunForRyan@KnightsOfFire3NJ.com    No refunds will be given for inclement weather conditions, poor sales, or no shows. There is a $25 fee for checks returned due to insufficient funds.

Vendor Contract

This contract is made between the "Vendor" and The Knights of Fire III NJ™ hereinafter referred to as the "Committee".

 

EVENT - The Committee agrees to conduct an exposition called Knights of Fire III NJ “Run for Ryan” Charity Motorcycle Run™.

 

Day: Sunday    Date: August 17, 2008    Starting Time: 9:00 am    Ending Time: 4:30 pm

(Note: most patrons will not be on the field from 11:30am to 1:00pm because of the Motorcycle run.)

Rain Date:  Saturday August 23, 2008 (rain or shine)

 

The Vendor hereby requests to reserve vendor space(s). A vendor space shall consist of a 20 X 10' area. Vendor will provide all items and materials required to make the vendor space suitable for vendor purposes.  The Knights of Fire III will not supply electricity, water, gas or any other utilities, tables, chairs, coverings, ect.  It is the responsibility or the vendor to bring all necessary equipment. 

 

If a vendor brings a generator, only the use of quite generators will be allowed.  All electrical connections must not interfere with patron right of ways or other vendors.  All electrical connections and gas powered machinery is subject to inspection by the Rockaway Borough Fire Marshals Office.

 

Vendors that bring machinery, equipment, or vehicles that will come in contact with or partly/wholly be operated by customers/event attendants must have a $1,000,000 insurance policy with a certificate of insurance that names the following additionally insured parties:  Knights of Fire III, Rockaway Borough Fire Department Association and the Borough of Rockaway.  Certificate must be supplied 2 weeks prior to the event.

 

VENDOR SPACE FEE - To reserve a vendor space the vendor must pre-pay the required per space fee. Vendor spaces will not be allocated or considered 'reserved' until payment has been received in full. Checks shall be made payable to "Knights of Fire III NJ".

 

All registration fees are considered a donation.  If the event is rescheduled to the rain date, the vendor will be notified by e-mail.  The Knights of Fire III will not be held liable for e-mails not received because of Internet Provider issues or vendor e-mail issues.  Further more, by registering, the Knights of Fire III will not be held liable for the cancellation/shortening of the event do to police actions taken by the Borough of Rockaway or actions taken by the Rockaway Borough Fire Department.

 

Vendors are reminded that "Knights of Fire III", "Run for Ryan", and the Knights of Fire "Logo" are trade marks, and as such, no vendor may offer, market, distribute, or sell merchandise, devices, collectibles, souvenirs, or services using this mark without written permission of the Committee. No adult/sexually oriented material or conduct will be allowed at the even.  Violators will forfeit their vendor space fee(s) and be requested to vacate the Knights of Fire III NJ “Run for Ryan” Charity Motorcycle Run™ vendor area immediately.

 

NOTE: All vendor spaces must be occupied by 8:30 am on the day of the event. At that time access to the vendor area will be closed to vehicular traffic and all vacant vendor spaces will be pre-assigned. Vendors arriving after 8:30 am will be required to hand-carry or hand-cart their merchandise and support materials to the space or spaces assigned by the Committee. The Committee cannot provide support or equipment such as hand-carts, etc. to assist vendors in occupying their assigned vendor space or spaces. There will be no exceptions to this policy!
